Apps that identify music are now also identifying TV shows and the clothes that characters are wearing

A few months ago, the music identification app Shazam started to also identify TV shows. Flipping through the channels, you can now record a snippet of almost any show and the app will return a host of information about it. Next up? Shazam is extending its capabilities to let users identify and by the fashions that are worn by start of the shows.
