Jyrobike riffs on Segway technology, replacing training wheels with a gyroscope
After hundreds of years, the bicycle has been getting a number of upgrades recently. Adults looking for a bit of an assist can now rely on help from the Copenhagen Wheel, a super high-tech system that replaces the rear wheel of almost any bicycle. By electronically gauging your pedaling it and offers a power boost when you need it. Now kids learning to ride for the first time can use gyroscopic technology to keep them upright. Aiming to launch by early 2015, Jyrobike uses a concealed gyroscope to provide additional balance at low speeds.
