Minimalist trend reaches down to running socks

Minimalism, an aesthetic in which less is more, has pervaded every part of our lives, from home decor to phone design. Now it is on our feet in the form of PowerSox, a combination of thick (but not too thick) and thin (very thin) wicking material that's meant to offer support (in the toe box and heel) as well as a feeling of naked freedom (arch and upper). We haven't tried these yet ourselves, but will report when we do.
