World's first point-and-shoot 3D camera creates instructions for 3D printers
The Lynx A has three features: scene modeling, object modeling, and motion capture. Once you’ve selected one from the main screen, it will start instantly. Scene modeling lets you scan the surfaces around you and watch a 3D model get painted in the viewfinder.
Object modeling enables you to walk around an object and see a 3D model being slowly carved out. With motion capture, you point the camera at a subject, press record, and see the results on-screen as they move around.
The Lynx A is currently raising funds on Kickstarter and you can get your hands on one for a pledge of at least $1,799.
