Several companies are working on making flying cars a reality, led by Terrafugia, a company that is seeking to make personal aviation as simple as driving your car. The Terrafugia Transition is one of the most exciting of the lot. It's a street-legal flying machine that transforms from a traditional car to an airplane in under a minute. Adding to the coolness factor, the vehicle fits in a standard single car garage. This four-seat, plug-in hybrid electric flying car is set to go on sale in 2015, which means that the future is not very far off. Will people be piloting these around their neighborhoods soon?
