Storm chasing tours are booming

Tornado tourism is a growing business in the United States, as storm chasers throughout the Midwest are attracting visitors in ever larger numbers. There are hundereds of tour companies now offering to bring tourists to intense meteorological events, and visitors are coming from all over the world. Storm season usually runs from early May through mid-August and companies claim to have seventy-percent success rate on finding potentially deadly storms.
