Are "energy sprays" the next energy drinks?

Sounds weird at first, but then lots of things do. Sprayable Energy is a new Indiegogo project that delivers caffeine directly through your skin. Spray it on, like a cologne. One of the benefits touted by its makers is that you can carry a multi-week supply of energy in your pocket. And you don't have to swallow one of those bad-tasting drinks. Spraying four times delivers about the same energy as a cup of coffee. According to the manufacturer, "it can be taken in seconds, doesn’t make you crash, is way more affordable than current products, and isn’t full of mystery ingredients." Are sprays the drinks of the future? Maybe. We have already seen bars where you can smoke alcohol.
