Art in unusual places trend: Trash sculptures on city streets
The Berlin-based art collective Bosso Fakata is taking to the streets finding disused furniture, boxes and trash of all sorts and turning it into guerrilla art. Found objects are tightly wrapped with plastic film and spray painted as an artistic statement about waste and turning garbage into beauty. According to the artists, "We're walking through the streets with plastic wrap, spray cans and ladder and try to restage trash into a new light and a new context of meaning." We like it.
