Pregnant women everywhere are looking to the English princess Kate Middleton to copy her choices of maternity wear. The British retailer Debenhams has seen sales of floaty dresses and pretty styles of maternity wear increase by more than 500% versus this time than last year, growth they attribute to fashions worn by the Duchess. According to the department store women are also emulating Kate’s off-duty look, with woven tops and cropped Capri trousers selling well, a fad that is being dubbed "The Duchess Effect."
