Move over sushi, here comes conveyer belt cheese

It's surely every cheese lover's dream — a conveyor belt of... well, cheese. That's exactly what's coming to London later this year, when Pick & Cheese arrives at the yet-to-open Seven Dials Market. A 40-metre long conveyer belt forms the centrepiece of the bar, which can accommodate up to 38 avid cheese-munchers in one sitting. Just like at a sushi establishment of this kind, plates will be colour-coded for price — so all you need to do is pluck whatever takes your fancy, and get stuck in. Up to 25 different types of cheese — from UK-based farms and producers — will whizz round at any one time. Will we be seeing conveyer belt restaurants of all kinds?
