Voice assistant integration is the top smart-home trend at CES
Companies throughout the tech space are introducing devices and announcing new partnerships at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. One of the top trends sweeping the smart home market at this year’s show has been the further integration of consumer connected devices with the leading voice-based artificial intelligence (AI) assistants, as companies look to take advantage of the popular emerging voice platforms. Smart home camera company Canary is adding Alexa video support to its systems. Whirlpool is building even more extensive support for voice assistants into its appliances. And accessory company D-Link announced a pair of home security cameras that can also integrate with Alexa and Google Assistant.
